Individual Modifications
The following modifications are owned by individual Europa builders. If you
would like to include an individual mod in your aircraft, you should contact the
owner.
Please note that inclusion of a individual mod in this site does not
necessarily mean that it is PFA-approved (the PFA approval status of each is
given in its details), nor that it is endorsed by the Club, nor that it has been
checked for engineering soundness by the Club. The owner of a mod listed here is
not obliged to make details
and/or parts available, although many are very happy to do so on either a free
or a commercial basis.
Before copying an individual mod on your aircraft, it is strongly recommended
that you review
Ian Rickard's
background article and ascertain the regulations applicable to modifications
in your country.

- Singleton tailwheel
- This mod offers an alternative drive of the tailwheel and rudder, giving
improved aesthetics at the rear, and eliminating the possibility of two pilots
working against each other in an emergency overloading the rudder hinges and
mounts.
- Owner: Graham Singleton
- PFA approved
- Singleton firewall
- This mod replaces the factory stainless steel firewall with a composite
one which reduces the noise in the cabin and is easier to install. It does,
however, require removal of the engine before it can be detached from the
airframe.
- Owner: Graham Singleton
- PFA approved
- Torque-tube drive pin clamp
- This mod can be used in the event that up and down play develops between
port and starboard stabilator trailing edges.
- Owner: Bob Harrison
- Henk and Bart's tailwheel conversion
